Jersey

All players will be supplied with a Club jersey for game days during the season. The jerseys remain the property of Wests JRLFC until presented to the players on presentation day (subject to team sponsorship)

Shorts and Socks

Players are required to wear Club shorts and socks, which can be purchased from the Canteen on Training nights for Game Days.  Shorts cost $30.00/$35.00 and Socks cost $15.00

Boots

All players are required to wear football boots, which can be purchased from any sports store. 

​

Similarly, any purchases made through ‘Rebel Sports’ will allow 5% of your purchase price to be accrued as an in-store credit for your club… Make sure you mention Wests… or better still, sign up to ‘Rebel’ and save ‘Wests Junior Rugby League Football Club - Brisbane’ as the club you’d like to support, and use your ‘Rebel’ card every time you buy… and the 5% support will be allocated to our club automatically.

Protective Equipment

Protective equipment is the responsibility of the player.  All players must wear mouth guards.  Shoulder pads and headgear are optional.

Tape

Strapping and electrical tape is the player’s responsibility to supply and is available for purchase from the Canteen.

​

Water Bottles

The Club will supply each team with water bottles for games.  It is the player’s responsibility to bring their own water bottles to training.

TEAM PHOTOS

Your Sign-On fee includes the cost of a team photo.

Your will be notified by your Team Manager of the time and location closer to the date. Players are required to wear their Jersey, shorts, socks and football boots.  Team officials are required to wear their Club shirt.

TRAINING COURSES

The Club is required to have all Coaches, Trainers/League Safe, First Aid Officers and Touch Judges accredited through the Junior Rugby League and these accreditations must be updated at regular intervals. The Club therefore is prepared to fully fund these courses for anyone wishing to take on one of these important roles.  Contact the Club Secretary if you wish to undertake any of these courses.

BECOME A JUNIOR REFEREE

Young players over the age of 14 are eligible to become a junior referee. The club is reliant on our young players in order to field qualified referees each week. You’ll get the best view of the game, and you’ll get paid. Those interested in becoming a junior referee should go to the club website - or talk to the club secretary - for more information!
